Job summary

Xebia Group is seeking an automation QA engineer to advance API and UI test automation across web and mobile modules. The role focuses on designing end-to-end test scenarios, validating external integrations, and ensuring reliable core flows with AI-assisted testing practices.

You will collaborate with developers and stakeholders to identify potential issues and implement robust testing processes that uphold release quality across our EU projects.

Qualifications

You will be:

• developing and executing automated integration tests,
• verifying endpoint structures and validating API interactions across external partner integrations,
• building and maintaining robust end-to-end test suite scovering web frontends as well as dedicated mobile modules embedded within the main application,
• implementing testing processes to guarantee uninterrupted operation and stability for core conversion and payment flows,
• collaborating with developers and other stakeholders to identify, investigate, and prevent potential issues.

Your profile:

• strong experience in API test automation and practical knowledge of contract testing, e.g. using Pact,
• hands‑on experience with modern UI test automation frameworks for web and/or mobile applications, such as Playwright or Appium,
• being able to design and map complex end‑to‑end integration test scenarios, including scenarios with mocked external dependencies,
• practical experience using AI in the testing process,
• having a good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Work from the European Union region and a work permit are required.

Nice to have:

• experience integrating test suites with CI/CD pipelines,
• familiarity with performance/load testing and basic security scanning of APIs,
• experience applying GenAI in a more structured way within the SDLC, including defined workflows, prompt patterns, or tool integrations embedded into daily work,
• interest in and familiarity with emerging AI-driven practices (e.g. agent-based workflows, automation patterns, AI-augmented development), with a willingness to explore and experiment beyond standard approaches.
