Astek Polska sp. z o.o. is seeking a QA Engineer – Manual Testing for a biotechnology client. The role emphasizes manual testing of complex systems, including embedded or system-level software, with focus on test artefacts and documentation.

You will create and maintain test cases, execute tests, report defects, and contribute to test strategies in an Agile environment, using JIRA, Confluence, Polarion, HP ALM/QC, MS Teams and Office 365.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in software testing.
• Hands-on manual testing of complex systems, including embedded or system‑level software.
• Experience creating, maintaining and executing test cases, test scenarios, and test documentation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze software requirements and specifications and translate into test coverage.
• Create, maintain and execute test cases and test documentation.
• Perform manual testing of complex systems including embedded or system-level software.
• Develop and implement test strategies based on project needs.
• Execute tests, identify defects and document clear bug reports.
• Collaborate with developers to analyze issues and drive resolution.
• Improve QA processes, methodologies, and testing practices.
