Job summary

Uvation is seeking an experienced Software QA & Testing Engineer to drive manual and automated testing efforts across web and mobile applications, with emphasis on AI-powered testing methodologies. You will lead test planning, design robust automation, ensure cross-browser compatibility, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines to maintain high quality.

The role requires hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, and AI testing tools, plus strong knowledge of performance and API

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
4–6 years of experience in a Software QA role with a track record of delivering quality software.
Strong understanding of software QA methodologies and testing standards.
Hands-on experience with manual and automation testing of workflows and UI components.
Proficiency with automation frameworks (Selenium, TestNG, Playwright, Cypress).
Experience with cross-browser testing tools (BrowserStack, LambdaTest, Sauce Labs).
Knowledge of performance and load testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, or k6).
Experience with API testing tools (Postman, Rest Assured, Karate).
Proficiency with test management tools (Jira, TestRail) and Git.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure Pipelines).

Responsibilities

Test planning, strategy, and defining objectives aligned with Agile/CI/CD processes.
Perform manual testing on new features, regression tests, and exploratory testing for edge cases.
Design, build, and maintain automation frameworks for web and mobile apps.
Write reusable automated scripts for functional and end-to-end testing.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CodePipeline).
Conduct cross-browser and device testing across Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.
Design performance, scalability, and stress tests and analyze bottlenecks.
Use AI-powered testing tools for smarter test case generation and visual testing.
Identify, document, and track defects; collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
Create and maintain test plans, cases, and execution reports.
