Job summary

Us3 Consulting in Warsaw is seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer to own automated testing across web, API and database applications. You will work with development and delivery teams in an Agile environment to build robust automation frameworks and ensure release readiness.

The role requires 5+ years of QA experience, hands-on work with Selenium, Playwright, TestNG and Cucumber, and proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows.

We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer to join our team and take ownership of automated testing, quality engineering and release readiness across web, API and database applications.

You’ll work closely with development and delivery teams in an Agile environment, helping build robust automation frameworks and ensuring high-quality software releases.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites.
• Create and execute functional, regression, sanity, API and database tests.
• Work with Selenium and Playwright to automate web application testing.
• Contribute to CI/CD quality gates and automated testing pipelines.
• Support test management, defect tracking and release readiness.
• Collaborate with developers and other QA engineers using modern Git-based workflows.
• Help drive quality engineering and automation best practices across the team.
• 5+ years of QA / Software Testing experience.
• Proven experience developing automated tests/frameworks using TestNG and Cucumber.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium and Playwright.
• Strong experience testing web applications, APIs and databases.
• Experience with test management tools such as ALM and Jira/Xray.
• Strong knowledge of unit, sanity and regression testing.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, ideally GitHub Actions and/or Azure DevOps.
• Strong knowledge of Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively within an Agile team.
• Fluent/native Polish and strong English communication skills.

Preferred / Nice to Have

• Experience with Docker and cloud platforms such as Azure or GCP.
• Experience with Grafana or other observability tools.
• Experience operating enterprise performance testing platforms.
• Experience working in regulated environments such as GxP, SOX, pharmaceutical, healthcare or life sciences.
• Experience implementing Automation Testing as Code.
• Knowledge of contract testing and API quality practices.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and automated quality guardrails.
• Familiarity with GitHub Advanced Security and modern DevSecOps practices.
