Job summary

Spyrosoft Ltd is seeking a senior UI test automation engineer to help modernize goods management systems by building AI-assisted UI tests using Playwright, React/TypeScript, and Java on Google Cloud. The role focuses on validating frontend behavior and ensuring parity with legacy workflows through automated comparisons.

The candidate will explore undocumented apps, design end-to-end coverage, refine AI-generated tests, and collaborate with developers to ensure reliable, scalable test suites

Qualifications

• 5+ years of senior UI test automation experience, ideally with Playwright.
• Experience with E2E tests that validate backend logic through the UI.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools to create test scenarios and automated tests.
• Ability to independently explore undocumented applications and translate business workflows into meaningful test coverage.
• Strong ability to critically review AI-generated test code and identify ineffective or misleading tests.
• Working knowledge of HTTP, REST APIs, and OAuth/JWT authentication.
• English at B2+ level.

Responsibilities

• Explore legacy applications to identify business workflows and expected results.
• Design UI-driven E2E test coverage, including validation of backend behaviour.
• Improve the AI pipeline used to generate test scenarios and automated tests.
• Define expected outputs for AI agents and refine prompts.
• Review, debug, and improve AI-generated automated tests.
• Ensure AI-generated tests are correct, stable, and trustworthy.
• Collaborate with developers to compare the behaviour of the legacy and new systems.
