Job summary

Ultimate Jet Vacations is seeking a Senior Software Test Engineer to lead quality efforts across our product suite. This hands-on role focuses on automated testing, test strategy, risk identification, and collaboration with Engineering and Product to deliver reliable software.

You will mentor QA engineers, shape testing practices, and help raise quality standards across the organization while building robust automation frameworks in PHP/JS environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Software Testing, QA, or similar role.
• Strong automation experience with Pest, Jest, Playwright, Appium, or similar.
• Strong programming/scripting skills in PHP, JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar.
• Experience with API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of test planning, regression testing, risk-based testing, and QA methodologies.
• Experience with Jira, TestRail, Zephyr, or similar tools.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Full professional proficiency in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Define test strategies and plans for new features and product initiatives.
• Partner with Engineering and Product to identify risks and determine testing requirements.
• Develop and execute automated, manual, regression, and exploratory testing strategies.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated UI, API, integration, and regression tests.
• Build and improve automation frameworks using Pest, Jest, Playwright, or similar.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Monitor test results and troubleshoot failures; establish quality metrics.
