Job summary

First Advantage is seeking a QA Automation Team Lead to provide technical leadership, elevate automation strategy, and uplift testing maturity across a distributed SaaS ecosystem. This hybrid role requires Kraków reporting 2-3 days weekly and mentoring global QA teams.

You will define best practices, lead automation architecture, and partner with product, engineering, and architecture teams to shape the quality roadmap and drive reliable, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Seasoned QA automation leader with hands-on automation and team mentoring.
• Experience designing scalable automation frameworks across UI/API/microservices.
• Strong knowledge of JS/TS automation with WebdriverIO or Playwright.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and quality gates.
• Ability to write SQL queries and understand modern web tech.

Responsibilities

• Define automation strategy, roadmaps, and architectural standards.
• Lead automation framework consolidation and governance.
• Mentor QA engineers across locations and teams.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and architecture to uplift testing maturity.
• Own quality KPIs, metrics, and testing approaches.
• Ensure automation integrates into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Support exploratory, end-to-end, and UAT testing when needed.
