Job summary

Charles River Development (CRD), the FinTech division of State Street, is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to design and implement automated test frameworks for rapid, reliable software delivery. You will work in a Scrum team with engineers, product managers, and business analysts to expand automation coverage across the platform.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years of experience in software testing within a process-driven technology environment.
• Strong programming expertise in Java, C#, JavaScript, or Python.
• Hands-on experience in front-end testing using Playwright or Selenium.
• Experience in back-end/API testing, including REST APIs, HTTP, and SOAP services.
• Very good knowledge about databases, including SQL query language.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable automated test frameworks and regression suites
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality feature delivery
• Expand automation coverage across functional, integration, and system testing
• Support CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices
