Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a Senior Automation QA Engineer to join the Market Connectivity team in a hybrid setup with 3 days in the office in Krakow or Wroclaw. The role focuses on building and maintaining ultra-low latency trading systems and exchange connectivity solutions for global markets.

You will design test strategies, develop automated frameworks in Python, and create API, integration, end-to-end, and regression tests for trading workflows, ensuring high performance, reliability, and production

Qualifications

• Strong experience in software testing with automation principles.
• Hands-on Python development for test automation.
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of API, integration, end-to-end, and regression testing.
• Hands-on with PyTest, Playwright, Selenium, or similar frameworks.
• Experience testing distributed, real-time, or high-performance systems.
• Knowledge of market connectivity, data flows, exchange integrations, or trading workflows.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and modern delivery practices.
• Good knowledge of SQL and database testing techniques.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Design test strategies and automation approaches for low-latency trading platforms.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test frameworks and test suites using Python.
• Create automated API, integration, end-to-end, and regression tests for trading workflows.
• Validate exchange connectivity, market data flows, and order processing across venues.
• Verify functional correctness, reliability, and performance of trading gateways.
• Analyze requirements and latency-sensitive workflows to ensure test coverage.
• Investigate test failures and perform root-cause analysis with developers.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and contribute to production readiness.
