Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a Senior Automation QA Engineer to join the Market Connectivity team in Kraków. You will design and implement automated testing solutions for ultra-low latency trading systems and exchange connectivity, leveraging Python, PyTest, and Playwright.

You will develop and maintain test frameworks, create API/integration/end-to-end tests, and validate data flows across global venues, ensuring performance and reliability in a high-performance computing environment.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in software testing and test automation principles.
• Hands-on Python development for test automation.
• Experience designing and maintaining automated test frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of API, integration, end-to-end, and regression testing.
• Hands-on with PyTest, Playwright, or Selenium.
• Experience testing distributed, real-time, or high-performance systems.
• Understanding of market connectivity and trading workflows.
• Experience with CI/CD, Git, and modern software delivery.
• Good knowledge of SQL and database testing.
• Strong debugging and root-cause analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Design test strategies for low-latency trading platforms and exchange connectivity.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test frameworks and test suites using Python.
• Create automated API, integration, end-to-end, and regression tests for trading workflows.
• Validate exchange connectivity, market data flows, and order processing across venues.
• Verify functional correctness, reliability, and performance of trading gateways.
• Analyze requirements and latency-sensitive workflows to ensure test coverage.
• Investigate failures, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with developers.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support production readiness.
