Job summary

EPAM Systems in Poland seeks a Senior Python / LangGraph Engineer to build an Enterprise Agent Development Platform on AWS AgentCore Runtime. You will design LangGraph nodes, edges, and graphs for scalable agent orchestration and contribute to a production-grade developer experience.

You will implement checkpointing with SQLite, Redis, and Postgres, integrate OpenTelemetry tracing, and ensure reliability with retries and fallbacks while working with HITL workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Python development.
• Experience with LangGraph or LangChain agent orchestration.
• Proficiency in async Python (asyncio).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Python-based LangGraph nodes, edges, and graphs for agent orchestration delivery.
• Build checkpointing mechanisms using SQLite, Redis, and Postgres checkpointers within LangGraph.
• Develop HITL workflows to support controlled agent decision points.
• Implement retry, timeout, and fallback patterns for reliable orchestration.
• Integrate OpenTelemetry tracing across orchestration steps for full observability.

We are looking for a Senior Python / LangGraph Engineer to join the team building an Enterprise Agent Development Platform — a production-grade, cloud-native ecosystem that enables engineering teams to define, orchestrate, deploy, and observe AI agents at scale.
