AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Python Developer to design and build scalable microservices and REST APIs, collaborating with Product, DevOps, and Frontend teams to deliver high-quality software.

You will design robust backend solutions, write unit and integration tests, containerize apps with Docker, and help implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, while mentoring junior engineers. This role offers flexible remote/office options and exposure to Fortune 500 projects.

Formación

• 4+ years of professional backend software development experience using Python.
• Deep understanding of Python core concepts (OOP, functional programming, memory management, async/concurrency, and data structures).
• API & Microservices: Production-grade REST APIs and distributed microservices architectures.
• Databases: Relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and ORM frameworks.
• Testing: Unit, integration, and end-to-end tests with Pytest.
• Version Control: Git and collaborative development workflows.

Responsabilidades

• Architecture & Development: Design, build, and maintain high-performance, scalable microservices and RESTful APIs using Python (e.g., FastAPI, Django, or Flask).
• Code Quality & Technical Standards: Write clean, readable, maintainable, and well-tested code. Conduct peer code reviews and promote modern Python practices.
