Job summary

Software Mind is seeking Backend Python Developers to join a long-term platform engineering project focused on high-performance infrastructure and self-service provisioning.

You will build backend services and APIs that power the user-facing platform, enabling provisioning and automation of infrastructure resources via web interfaces and APIs. You will contribute to RBAC, multi-tenancy and platform features, while collaborating with mixed teams to improve code quality and delivery standards.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience with Python backend development.
• Experience building REST APIs and backend services.
• Good understanding of microservices and distributed systems.
• Experience with authentication, authorization and RBAC concepts.
• Practical knowledge of Git, code review, CI/CD and automated testing.
• Ability to work with existing codebases and improve them incrementally.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with technical stakeholders.
• Senior mindset, ownership and ability to understand technical and business context.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend services and APIs connecting the user-facing platform with infrastructure services.
• Extend existing Python APIs and implement new platform features.
• Improve RBAC and multi-tenancy capabilities.
• Support integrations with infrastructure services.
• Collaborate in a mixed engineering team to improve code quality, maintainability, and delivery standards.
