Job summary

Tieto in Szczecin is seeking a strong technically minded engineer who can own development and contribute to solution design across backend, frontend, and DevOps areas.

You will design and maintain backend applications (Python), contribute to frontend development, build REST APIs, and work across the full stack with Docker and Kubernetes for deployment. You will participate in CI/CD and DevOps practices, collaborating with Architects and Product Owners to deliver scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on software development experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications, preferably Python.
• Contribute to frontend application development and work across the full technology stack.
• Design and implement REST APIs, backend services, data processing and integrations.
• Develop applications that interact with databases and other backend systems.
• Work with Docker containers and Kubernetes for deployment and operations.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Work with workflow/orchestration technologies such as Argo Workflows.
• Contribute to technical design and architecture for small- to medium-sized requirements.
• Collaborate with Architects, Product Owners, and developers to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, automated testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
