Job summary

EPAM Systems in Kraków is seeking a Python Engineer to advance cloud‑native solutions for a major client. You will build, refine, and deploy secure, scalable software using Python and modern cloud platforms, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to drive digital transformation.

The role blends hands‑on development with cloud architecture, including AWS/Azure/GCP, containers, and CI/CD. You will mentor juniors, conduct code reviews, and stay ahead of Python and cloud innovations while

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering or equivalent hands‑on experience.
3+ years of Python development with Django/Flask/FastAPI.
Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP and cloud services.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and serverless frameworks.
Design RESTful APIs and work with databases (SQL/NoSQL).

Responsibilities

Develop Python software across web apps, APIs, data pipelines, and automation tools.
Architect cloud-based systems on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Build scalable microservices and serverless apps.
Enhance data pipelines and cloud functions.
Improve reliability with tests and monitoring.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine features.
Establish CI/CD pipelines within cloud environments.
Troubleshoot production issues and optimize performance.
Stay up-to-date with Python and cloud innovations.
