Job summary

Jit Team in Poland is seeking a software engineer to design and implement AI-powered workflows for modernising legacy code. You will develop tooling for automated analysis, migration and refactoring, primarily in Python, while ensuring clean code and scalable CI/CD integration.

You will work with Docker, Kubernetes and LLMs, collaborating with enterprise teams across Europe. A hybrid work model from Gdynia/Gdańsk/Warszawa is available, with training opportunities financed by Jit.

Qualifications

• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Experience with AI-assisted development and LLMs.
• Practical knowledge of CI/CD and containerisation with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with agentic AI concepts and tool-use workflows.
• Ability to read code in multiple languages including legacy Java.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and improve AI-powered agent workflows for legacy code modernisation.
• Build and maintain tooling for automated code analysis, migration and refactoring.
• Develop solutions in Python with clean, maintainable coding practices.
• Integrate AI-driven workflows with CI/CD and deployment platforms.
• Work with LLMs, prompting and agentic coding tools.
• Collaborate with teams to turn migration cases into repeatable automation.
