Jit seeks an experienced engineer to drive AI-powered legacy code modernization. You will design agent workflows, build automated analysis and migration tooling, and implement Python-based solutions with clean code practices.

Qualifications

• Strong programming in Python.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles (Git, code reviews, testing, clean code).
• Practical knowledge of CI/CD and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, AI-assisted development.
• Knowledge of agentic AI concepts (agents, tool use, agent workflows).
• Ability to read/understand code in multiple languages including legacy Java.
• Experience with Tekton or ArgoCD; knowledge of Ansible or IaC tools.
• Familiarity with agentic coding tools and MCP.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop and improve AI-powered agent workflows for legacy code modernisation.
• Build tooling for automated code analysis, migration and refactoring.
• Develop Python-based solutions following clean, maintainable software practices.
• Integrate AI workflows with CI/CD and deployment platforms such as Tekton, ArgoCD and Ansible.
• Work with LLMs and agentic coding tools to support migrations.
