Software Mind is seeking a Proxmox Engineer to join a Dutch engineering team delivering private cloud services. The three-month full-time assignment aims to verify and stabilize Proxmox environments and transfer knowledge to the client’s engineers in the Netherlands.

The role requires 10+ years in IT infrastructure and hands-on Proxmox VE, OpenStack, and virtualization experience, plus strong Linux, networking, and scripting skills. Flexible and remote cooperation options are available.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years in IT infrastructure and virtualization.

Aufgaben

• Assess existing Proxmox VE environments for cluster config, storage, networking, HA, backup.
• Identify configuration gaps and propose remediation.
• Verify sizing against load and document capacity gaps.
• Implement corrections and validate them.
• Validate backup and restore end-to-end.
• Coordinate with OpenStack team to ensure Proxmox supports platform needs.
• Produce runbooks and documentation for operators.
• Transfer knowledge to client’s Dutch team.
