Job summary

Software Mind is hiring a Go Developer to build a private cloud platform for a Dutch managed services provider. You’ll design, implement and deploy backend services in Go, operate Kubernetes operators, and help migrate workloads onto the new platform.

The role collaborates with a mixed team in Poland and the Netherlands in English, with full remote work from Poland. You’ll contribute across the delivery lifecycle, from design discussions to code reviews, with opportunities to shape the

Qualifications

• Min. 4 years of commercial back-end development, including min. 2 years building production services in Go.
• Go concurrency primitives (goroutines, channels, context, sync) and building REST/gRPC services.
• Building CI/CD pipelines in GitLab and working across the full delivery lifecycle.
• Writing tests in Go with the standard testing package and Testify or Ginkgo.
• Building and running containerised applications on Linux, debugging services and networking.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and deploy back-end services in Go for the private cloud platform.
• Write and maintain Kubernetes operators and controllers in Go.
• Test, debug and improve existing infrastructure applications.
• Migrate existing workloads onto the new platform.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitLab for the services you own.
• Review code and write technical documentation with the team.
