Job summary

TÜV Rheinland RSSC in Katowice is seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead and coordinate complex projects within a dynamic, international Shared Services environment. You will drive planning, resource management, and performance optimization across finance, HR and related processes.

The role requires strong English (B2+) and 3+ years in project management, with 6+ years for a senior role. A hybrid work model and opportunities for growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Excellent English language skills (B2 or higher).
• At least 3 years of experience as Project Manager (6+ years for Senior role).
• Experience leading projects in Shared Services Center (SSC) / BPO environments with focus on service delivery and optimization.
• Strong expertise in Finance & Accounting processes; HR service delivery experience is a plus.
• University degree in Business Administration/Project Management or related field.
• Knowledge of GPM Standard.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Experience in international and intercultural environments.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Very good communication skills in person and virtual contacts.
• German language skills will be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Clarify project objectives and scope with stakeholders.
• Lead or coordinate planning, resourcing, staffing, procurement, and progress reporting.
• Develop detailed project plans with milestones and work packages.
• Ensure quality, reliability, schedule and cost requirements.
• Define measures to evaluate results and monitor performance.
• Provide status tracking and final reporting, including presentations.
• Establish communication flows among participants.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

WHAT TASKS CAN YOU EXPECT?

• Responsible for clarifying the project objectives and scope in consultation with the project stakeholders
• Leads or coordinates project planning, resourcing, staffing, supply and subcontract management, progress reporting, troubleshooting and stakeholder management
• Develops a detailed project plan, identifies the work packages, activities and milestones necessary to successfully implement the project
• Ensures project results meet requirements regarding technical quality, reliability, schedule and cost
• Determines measures to evaluate the project results
• Monitors performance and recommends schedule changes, cost adjustments or resource additions
• Is responsible for project controlling / project status tracking and the final report, including the preparation of presentations and status reports
• Establishes a communication concept to ensure information flows between all project participants
• Other duties as assigned

WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES SHOULD YOU HAVE?

• Excellent English language skills (at least B2)
• At least 3 years of experience as Project Manager (6+ years for a Senior role)
• Proven experience leading projects within Shared Services Center (SSC) and/or Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) environments, with a strong understanding of service delivery, process optimization, and operational transformation
• Strong expertise in Finance & Accounting processes is required; experience with HR service delivery functions (e.g. Recruitment, HR Administration, Employee Services) operating in an SSC/BPO model is considered a strong advantage
• University Degree in Business Administration/Project Management or related field of study
• Knowledge of GPM Standard
• Ability to work both independently and in a team
• Experience in working in an international and intercultural environment
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Very good communication skills in personal and virtual contact
• German language skills will be an asset
