Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex defence buildings & infrastructure projects within its Global Design Center in Kraków and Warsaw. You will deliver large architectural, engineering, and infrastructure initiatives, collaborating with clients, technical experts, and stakeholders across Jacobs' global network.

The role requires a professional with a strong PM background in built environment, fluency in English, willingness to travel, and ability to lead

Qualifications

Professional degree such as a bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or related discipline/field.
Minimum 10 years of experience managing projects in the Built Environment market.
Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
Willingness to travel.
Very good knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and MS Project.
Independent and structured way of working.
Ability to coordinate and communicate with different stakeholders and build strong relationships.
Curiosity and willingness to continuously learn and develop and to empower others.

Responsibilities

Manage large or multiple architectural, engineering, and infrastructure projects from start to finish.
Set metrics and develop approaches to meet project and client needs.
Lead the team to achieve project commitments and timelines.
Implement change management processes.
Maintain clear communication with clients, vendors, and authorities.
Develop cost proposals in response to client requests.
Represent Jacobs or the client in negotiations and report progress to management.
Monitor costs, budgets, schedules, and staffing.
Ensure quality processes per program or contract requirements.
Plan, organize and staff key field positions.
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
Mentor team members and promote project management best practices.
