Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager for Defence Buildings & Infrastructure projects in Kraków and Warsaw. You will lead multidisciplinary teams on complex building and facility projects, collaborating with clients, technical experts, and stakeholders across Jacobs' global network.

The role requires delivering projects on time, within budget, and to client specifications. The position offers a hybrid work model, travel opportunities, and a diverse international environment

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience managing projects in the Built Environment market.
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
• Willingness to travel.
• Very good knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and MS Project.
• Independent and structured way of working.
• Ability to coordinate and communicate with different stakeholders and build strong relationships.
• Curiosity and willingness to continuously learn and develop and to empower others.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective and skilled project management for large and/or multiple architectural, engineering, and infrastructure projects throughout the entire project life cycle.
• Assess project requirements and establish metrics for measuring key project criteria and develop the approach to meet client needs.
• Lead the team in project execution to accomplish commitments and timing.
• Implement change management processes.
• Ensure clear and consistent communication within the team and with clients, vendors, and authorities.
• Develop cost proposals to respond to client requests.
• Represent Jacobs and/or the Client in negotiations and report progress to program management.
• Determine, monitor, and review costs, budgets, schedules, and staffing for project teams.
• Ensure quality processes are planned and implemented per requirements.
• Plan, organize and staff key field positions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Mentor team members and promote best practices in project management.
