Job summary

Optiveum is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to drive transformation and integration projects, notably aligning Azure-based initiatives with security standards. You will lead end-to-end delivery as the sole PM, coordinating across IT, cloud, business, and security teams in hybrid settings.

The role requires strong governance, stakeholder management, and communications, with advanced English skills. You will report into Optiveum and work from multiple Polish locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a sole Project Manager on IT transformation and integration projects.
• Strong hands-on experience in Waterfall and Agile delivery.
• PMI certification (CAPM or PMP) preferred.
• Solid understanding of Azure Cloud Architecture and cybersecurity domains.
• Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, plan, and deliver transformation and integration projects in the Azure cloud and cybersecurity domains.
• Own the full project lifecycle, carefully managing scope, plan, budget, risks, and stakeholders.
• Deliver projects using both Waterfall and Agile approaches, depending on the specific project's needs.
• Apply structured Waterfall practices (clear phases, documentation, change control, governance).
• Run Agile ceremonies and support iterative delivery where appropriate.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across IT, cloud, business, and security departments.
• Ensure strict alignment with cybersecurity and compliance requirements.
• Provide clear reporting, risk management, and decision support to key stakeholders.

Contracting party: Optiveum (you will sign the cooperation agreement directly with us)

About the role:

Optiveum is currently looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our client's team. You will be part of a broader transformation program focused on aligning an isolated Azure data center with group-wide standards, policies, and security requirements.

We are seeking a proactive professional capable of delivering projects end-to‑end as the sole PM, operating smoothly across both Waterfall and Agile delivery models to ensure strong governance, stakeholder management, and execution discipline.

Responsibilities:

• Initiate, plan, and deliver transformation and integration projects in the Azure cloud and cybersecurity domains.

• Solid understanding of Cloud and Cybersecurity domains, including: Azure Cloud Architecture, Firewalls (FW), Proxy solutions, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Database Activity Monitoring, Endpoint Protection, Security Monitoring, Vulnerability management, Security baselines, Identity & Access Management (IAM), and Network Security.

• Outstanding communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.

• Advanced proficiency in English.
