Job summary

Vestas seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead NPI and Tech Transfer efforts within its global nacelle manufacturing footprint. You will organize and direct cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and ensure on-time delivery with manufacturing readiness across multiple locations and streams.

The role requires 7+ years of PM experience, PM certifications, and strong English communication. Wind industry knowledge is a plus, and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in project management, management discipline or engineering.
• IPMA C, PRINCE2, PMP or similar project management certificate.
• 7+ years project management experience.
• Experience managing 10 mEUR+ capital expenditures projects.
• Proficient communication and presentation skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure launches (NPI, Tech Transfers, Module Updates) are carried out with manufacturing stability and local training.
• Lead robust project organizations across value chain and ensure governance.
• Deliver project results within scope, quality, time, cost, risks and benefits.
• Own governance, stakeholder management, finances, resources and planning; lead workstreams.
• Manage large programmes with multiple participants and workstreams.
• Oversee manufacturing optimization and digital manufacturing transformation projects.
• Raise maturity of project leadership across Manufacturing.

Nacelles Industrialization Project Management delivers projects withing Vestas' global nacelle manufacturing footprint by efficiently planning and executing the Manufacturing project portfolio in a safe, high-quality, timely and cost-effective way. We are a team of almost 15 project managers headed from Denmark but located in multiple geographical locations and with different cultural backgrounds. We are hiring a Senior Project Manager to manage one of our key New Product Introductions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all launches (NPI, Tech Transfers and Module Updates) are carried out successfully with manufacturing stability and proper training to local employees
• Developing and leading robust project organizations, managing all aspects of the project across the value chain with project management best practices and in compliance with Vestas project processes
• Delivery of agreed project results within the tolerances for scope, quality, time, cost, risks and benefits
• Own project governance, stakeholder management, finances, resources and planning; lead workstreams/sub-PMs and move decisions through senior steering committees
• Larger programmes can involve around 250 participants and 10 workstreams
• Projects may also include manufacturing optimization and digital manufacturing transformation / IT implementation
• Long term, raise the maturity and quality of project leadership across Manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in project management, management discipline or engineering
• IPMA C, PRINCE2, PMP or similar project management certificate- 7+ years project management experience
• Previously responsible for 10 mEUR+ capital expenditures projects
• Proficient communication and presentation skills in English, both verbally and in writing
• Know-how from the wind industry will be an advantage, but it is not a must
