Job summary

ITConnect seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead a Large-Scale Hadoop/Cloudera migration or vendor replacement program. Role requires coordinating vendors, managing delivery timelines, budgets, risks, and reporting to SteerCo. Hybrid work model with 3 days on-site per week.

The ideal candidate has prior PM experience in large-scale data platform migrations, strong English skills, and a proven ability to drive delivery discipline and executive stakeholder alignment.

Qualifications

• Experience as PM in large-scale data platform migration.
• Experience with vendor replacements in Hadoop/Cloudera domain.
• Fluent English in speaking and writing.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the vendor change as project manager.
• Plan and manage delivery activities, including timelines, dependencies, resources, risks.
• Plan and manage budget and financial forecasting of the project.
• Monitor and report delivery progress and risks, escalating where needed to ensure execution.
• Promote a strong delivery culture and uphold project management discipline.
• Do progress reporting and SteerCo reporting.
• Demonstrate proven track record in leading large-scale platform migrations or vendor replacements in Hadoop/Cloudera domain.

Previous experience as PM in Large-Scale big data Platform Migration or vendor replacement project in Hadoop / Cloudera Domain is a must have and needs to be explained in CV.

• Coordinate the vendor change as project manager
• Plan and manage delivery activities, including timelines, dependencies, resources, risks
• Plan and manage budget and financial forecasting of the project
• Monitor and report delivery progress and risks, proactively identifying issues and risk and escalating where needed to ensure predictable execution
• Uphold project management discipline by promoting a strong delivery culture
• Do progress reporting and SteerCo reporting
• Proven track record in leading a Large-Scale Platform Migration or vendor replacement project in Hadoop / Cloudera Domain
• Good risks & issue management skills
• Good analytical skills and attention to detail; able to synthesise complex information into clear, actionable insights
• Excellent communication skills: able to engage and drive follow-up actions and able to bring clarity both in verbal and written communication
• Excellent stakeholder and executive stakeholder management skills
• Excellent English skills, both in speaking and writing
