Job description

The Poland Project Engineering Organization is looking for an Advanced Project Manager to plan and build scopes of work to support delivery of the first AP1000 Reactors in Poland. The role reports to the Senior Program Manager.

Responsibilities

• Project planning: complete all aspects of planning, including authoring project plans and developing scope, schedule, and cost baselines.
• Project executing, monitoring, and controlling: assume overall responsibility for contract profitability, manage all aspects of the project (scope, schedule, cost, risk, procurement, quality, resources, communications, and stakeholders), and oversee or prepare cost expenditure forecasts and progress evaluations (including Earned Value Management).
• Project closing: properly close the project by archiving work in financial, scheduling, document management, and resource management systems; perform final quality assessment and report; identify lessons and risk avoidance opportunities.
• Develop positive relationships with cross‑functional teams, customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to drive project success.
• Seek opportunities and implement continuous improvements to enhance project performance: identify, assess, and implement improvement opportunities that add value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline.
• PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) obtained, in process, or willing to obtain.
• 5 to 10 years of project management experience or a combination of engineering and project management experience from EPC, Oil, Gas, Chemical, or Nuclear sectors.
• Experience leading medium to high‑complexity projects to successful completion.
• Ability to establish effective networks across functional areas and drive and motivate a team to achieve common goals.
• Knowledge of the Project Management Institute's PMBOK®.
• Familiarity with project management software tools (P6, SAP, ARM) and techniques, including Earned Value Management.
• Advanced interpersonal skills: effective verbal and written communication, ability to lead and direct complex team structures, develop relationships with stakeholders at upper‑management levels, analyze problems, establish facts, and make complex decisions.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Salary

Base salary range: 13,916 to 17,350 PLN gross per month, depending on experience, qualifications, and skills. The role may be eligible for incentive pay based on company and individual performance.
