Job summary

HedgeServ is seeking an experienced AI Engineer to design, build, and operate production AI agents for financial operations and enterprise workflows. You will own the agent runtime, memory, tool execution, workflow state, approvals, and safety controls, delivering reliable, auditable solutions.

You will work with Python, API design, AWS Bedrock, and modern tooling to extend agent loops, ensure security, and maintain observability across production systems. A hybrid work arrangement is available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate production AI agents for financial operations and enterprise workflows.
• Design, deploy, and support reliable production runtimes for AI agents.
• Build and extend agent loops, including context assembly, retrieval, memory, tool selection and limits.
• Enforce authorization, human approvals, policy checks, validation, idempotency, retries, and error handling.
• Build validated, auditable tool interfaces with least-privilege permissions and secure execution.
• Create regression tests and observability for agent outcomes and tool paths.
