Job summary

CloudLinux Inc. seeks a Product Owner to run the team that builds and operates Imunify360’s product line. You’ll lead a small, senior, fully remote squad and be responsible for delivery, reliability, and team growth.

This is a hands-on lead role with ~60% leadership and 40% hands-on engineering. You’ll read and influence every part of the system, drive architecture and ADRs, and coordinate incident response and post-mortems within tight SLAs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a software engineer with 2+ years leading a team.
• Strong Linux proficiency at a software engineer level.
• Track record of shipping and operating a distributed backend service under real production load.
• Experience mastering a complex technical domain quickly and making credible architectural decisions.
• Practical fluency with observability and data tooling to judge quality yourself.
• Demonstrated people leadership including 1:1s, performance conversations, hiring and growing engineers.
• Experience working in an agentic/AI-assisted development workflow.
• Understanding of ML-driven systems, including model quality evaluation, training, and production operations.
• Professional proficiency in English, written and spoken.
• Availability to work EU hours.

Responsibilities

• Turn the product backlog into a credible, sequenced engineering plan with estimates and release trains.
• Run the team's weekly cadence: planning, release readiness, status reporting with real numbers.
• Own engineering quality gates for model releases and rollback paths.
• Keep technical debt visible and funded on the roadmap.
• Report delivery status and risk to engineering leadership weekly with clear owners and due dates.
• Own the architecture of the email stack and make build-vs-buy calls with explicit trade-offs.
• Review code/designs on the critical path and set the bar for tests and observability.
• Own production health: SLOs, alerts, capacity and deliverability posture of sending infrastructure.
• Act as incident commander for product-impacting events with cross-team remediation and post-mortems.
• Lead a distributed team across the globe with 1:1s, goal setting, and career development.
• Hire: define profiles, run interviews, onboard, mentor engineers.
