Job summary

CloudLinux is seeking a Product Owner to lead the email security product line, overseeing a senior remote squad of Go and Python engineers. This is a hands-on leadership role with a 60/40 split between delivery and engineering work, requiring deep technical understanding and the ability to guide complex infrastructure projects.

You will own the end-to-end architecture, reviews, ADRs, and trade-offs, ensuring reliable deployment, observability, and incident response while coaching a distributed

Qualifications

• 5+ years as software engineer with team leadership experience.
• Strong Linux proficiency and ability to review production code.
• Experience shipping and operating distributed backend services under production load.
• Familiarity with ML-driven systems and model evaluation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own backlog to engineering plan with estimates and release cadence.
• Lead weekly planning, release readiness, and risk reporting with concrete metrics.
• Ensure quality gates for model releases with rollback paths.
• Manage production health: SLOs, alerts, capacity, and delivery posture.
• Act as incident commander for product-impacting events and write post-mortems.
