Job summary

ERGO Technology & Services S.A. in Gdańsk is seeking a Senior Product Manager to drive risk and records management products across global markets. You will shape the roadmap, oversee lifecycle, ensure compliance and cost efficiency, and lead related IT projects for smaller products.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable solutions, manage budgets and vendors, and coordinate with IT and project teams across locations including Warsaw and Gdansk.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Business English.
• A university degree in CS, Business Admin, or similar.
• Good understanding of risk management, compliance and legal applications.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow, SQL, Cloud computing, and Azure DevOps.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Product and Project Management, including financial and stakeholder management.
• Experience with ITIL processes to collaborate with infrastructure, operations, solution, and technical architecture.
• Ability to lead product enhancements or development projects.
• Familiarity with analytical work regarding complex application landscapes.
• Assertiveness, self-organization, and proactive attitude.
• Strong planning, organizational, and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of full software development, product, and project life cycles.

Responsibilities

• Driving digitalization and transformation projects, supporting global processes, and launching or enhancing tools.
• Overseeing product cost and budget and managing external staff including procurement and provider management.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable system solutions.
• Implementing changes and configuring systems.
• Managing product roadmaps and backlogs to deliver capabilities on time and within budget.
• Collaborating with IT Project Manager for product-related initiatives.
• Leading requirements discovery, solution design, user story writing, feature development, and UAT.
• Coordinating across global teams to align on development and prioritization.
• Monitoring product compliance and performance for continuous improvement.
• Setting up strategic product architecture based on Munich Re Group standards.

Your responsibilities

• driving digitalization and transformation projects, supporting global processes, and enhancing or launching new tools
• overviewing product cost and budget as well as managing of the external staff including procurement and provider management
• collaborating with stakeholders to understand their business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient system solutions
• implementing changes and configuring system
• partnering with all stakeholders to manage product roadmaps and backlogs, ensuring that the product team delivers capabilities on time, on budget and per expectation
• close collaboration with IT Project Manager responsible for project enhancing products you are responsible from a product management perspective
• managing delivery processes including requirements discovery, solution design, user story writing, feature development, and user acceptance testing
• working across teams and global locations in a seamless way to ensure alignment on feature development and prioritization
• monitoring and evaluating product compliance and performance to facilitate continuous iteration and improvement
• setting up strategical product architecture based on the requirements and standards of Munich Re Group

Our requirements

• fluency in Business English
• a university degree, preferably in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a similar qualification
• good understanding of risk management, compliance and legal applications
• hands-on experience working with ServiceNow, SQL, cloud computing, and Azure DevOps
• demonstrated knowledge and experience with Product and Project Management, including financial and stakeholder management
• experience with ITIL processes to collaborate with infrastructure, operations, solution, and technical architecture
• ability to run product enhancements or development projects
• familiarity with analytical and concept work regarding complex application operation landscapes and architectures
• assertiveness, self-organized, and proactive attitude
• target-orientation and willingness to learn
• distinct planning, organizational, and negotiation skills, as well as good mediator skills
• knowledge of the entire software development, product, and project life cycles acquired in various positions (project management, requirements engineering, consulting, etc.)
