Lever, Inc. in Poland is seeking a Product Engineering Lead for a global peer-to-peer messaging and video-calling product. You will lead API and frontend teams, shape architecture, and work closely with the CTO to translate product strategy into reliable features.

You will own technical decisions, foster local-first, privacy-focused design, and mentor engineering leads while delivering high-scale consumer experiences across distributed environments.

Formación

• Proven experience leading software engineers or engineering leads delivering consumer-facing products.
• Strong product sense and ability to distinguish high-value opportunities from unnecessary complexity.
• Deep proficiency in JavaScript and React, with modern frontend architecture knowledge.
• Experience with distributed and local-first systems, offline-first concepts, and eventual consistency.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the API and frontend engineering teams, removing blockers and maintaining delivery momentum.
• Set engineering standards for performance, reliability, maintainability, and clean API design.
• Own technical design of product features and API boundaries between core and frontend.
• Collaborate with product leaders and translate vision into technically viable initiatives.
• Mentor engineering leads and strengthen team processes and cross-functional collaboration.
• Lead by example with hands-on contribution when needed, while enabling team ownership.
