Job summary

CompanyCam is seeking a Senior Product Data Analyst to partner with product teams and place data at the core of decision making. You will lead data-driven initiatives, design scalable experimentation, and mentor analysts in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

This role requires turning insights into strategic roadmaps, building analytics frameworks, and enabling self-service access via tools like Metabase, Amplitude, and Secoda.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in product analytics, data analytics, or a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, dbt, Snowplow, Amplitude, and Secoda (or equivalent tools).
• Experience with A/B testing, hypothesis-driven research, and experiment design
• Expertise in statistical modeling, causal inference, and data visualization
• Experience designing and implementing analytics frameworks for scalable decision-making
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence product teams and executives through insights and strategic recommendations
• Proficiency in storytelling with data and translating insights into strategy
• Prior experience in SaaS or fast-growing tech environments preferred
• Comfortable working in a high-autonomy, high-accountability environment
• Passion for fostering a culture of experimentation and data-driven learning
• A continuous growth-mindset, with a focus on learning, embracing challenges, and continuously improving.
• A knack for creativity and innovation, bringing fresh ideas to the table and solving complex problems.

Responsibilities

• Guide PMs to define and measure success metrics, run tests, and embed learning.
• Design robust experimentation frameworks, evaluate results, iterate on hypotheses.
• Build scalable analytics frameworks for data-driven decisions.
• Enable self-service analytics via Metabase, Amplitude, Secoda.
• Mentor junior analysts in statistics, experimentation, storytelling.
• Present insights to senior leadership to influence roadmaps.
• Champion data-driven decision making, data governance, and standardization.
• Use SQL, dbt, Snowplow to transform and analyze product data.
• Translate data insights to business strategy for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Foster a culture of experimentation across Product and Engineering.
