Job summary

Aqualis Group's OWC division in Poland seeks a Principal Consultant – Procurement, Contract and Claims to deliver expert advisory services for offshore and onshore renewables. You will lead consulting assignments, guide commercial and contractual decisions, and drive business development while collaborating with international teams.

The role requires 12+ years' experience, a strong engineering background, and fluency in Polish and English. Based in Warszawa with flexibility for cross-border work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 12 years' experience in procurement, contracts, claims or commercial advisory.
• Proven track record leading complex projects and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong commercial background in engineering consultancy, energy, offshore or related sectors.
• Experience in business development and client relationship management.
• Fluent in Polish and English.

Responsibilities

• Deliver procurement, contract management and claims advisory services to clients across complex projects.
• Lead and manage consulting assignments through the project lifecycle, ensuring delivery.
• Provide strategic commercial guidance from procurement through project close-out.
• Act as trusted advisor to clients, offering practical commercial solutions.
• Build relationships with clients and identify opportunities to expand work.
• Lead proposals, tenders and commercial negotiations with suppliers and partners.
• Maintain market presence to generate leads and convert opportunities.
• Support service line growth targets and profitability.
