Clariant SE in Poland invites a Senior Process Manager Order Management (m/f/d) to lead end-to-end order-to-cash, drive operational excellence, and shape GBS strategy. Responsibilities

• Lead daily Order Management operations within SSC Poland with end-to-end process ownership.

Senior Process Manager Order Management (m/f/d)

Are you a seasoned Order Management professional ready to lead and transform shared services operations?

Clariant is seeking a Senior Process Manager (SPM) for our Order Management team in Poland to oversee end-to-end order-to-cash processes, drive operational excellence, and shape our GBS strategy. In this pivotal role, you'll lead a high-performing team of OM specialists, establish operational priorities, and collaborate with key stakeholders across Business Units, functional leaders, and regional teams. You'll drive performance through continuous improvement, KPI management, and Lean methodologies while ensuring compliance with company policies and global standards. What will you be doing?

• Lead and manage daily Order Management operations within the SSC Poland, ensuring end-to-end process efficiency, effectiveness, and full compliance with relevant regulations, company policies, and internal/external guidelines across the entire order management cycle.
• Build, develop, and retain a high-performing Order Management team through coaching, performance management, Individual Development Plans, and succession planning, while participating in hiring decisions and conducting regular team briefings and meetings.
• Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement by identifying performance gaps, implementing corrective actions, applying Lean methodologies (Go-See-Act), and fostering a quality and improvement mindset across all Order Management domains.
• Manage resources, costs, and capacity within approved budgets – optimizing FTE, systems, and tools – while proactively planning workload assignments and addressing bottlenecks or backlogs.
• Serve as the strategic operational partner for Business Units, functional leaders, and regional/country teams, handling critical escalations and business complaints as the second level of support with high customer centricity.
• Lead change management, transformation, and project management activities in cooperation with the Head of SSC, including GBS activity transfers, ERP implementations, process standardization, and SSC service scope expansion.
• Maintain strong stakeholder relationships by participating in governance meetings, interfacing with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and alignment and facilitating efficient communication across all levels.
• Contribute to SSC strategy and governance by participating in the annual budgeting process, serving as a member of the Local Leadership Team (LLT), and supporting the broadening of SSC service scope.
• Ensure adherence to the highest safety, ESHA, and BCM standards, while supporting accident prevention systems and capturing learnings and best practices for harmonization across the organization.

What are we looking for?

• Strong end-to-end process understanding of Order Management functional areas (e.g., Order Entry, Order Fulfilment, Customer Master Data, Pricing, Claims & Returns, Invoicing) and solid knowledge of GBS operations and business guidelines.
• 10–15 years of relevant Order Management, Customer Service Operations, or Supply Chain experience, with approximately 5 years in supervisory or management roles within shared services or GBS environments.
• Intermediate to advanced project management experience, particularly in leading Lean projects, transformation initiatives, and activity transfers, with a proven ability to deliver on commitments.
• Lean competency and continuous improvement mindset: Go-See-Act approach, waste identification, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills applied to Order Mamanagement operations.
• Customer-centric approach with demonstrated ability to deliver excellent service quality, achieve KPIs and SLAs, and drive benchmark improvements.
• Proven track record of leading multicultural teams across geographies, with the ability to build, develop, motivate, and retain key talent.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP SD/OTC modules) and process automation tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
• Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Economics, or International Trade/Logistics, or equivalent professional qualification.
• Any other European language will be an asset
