Autodesk in Krakow is seeking a Senior Principal Software Engineer (Backend/Full Stack) to shape the Tandem platform for Industry 4.0 and IIoT. You will lead architecture, drive cloud-native services, and contribute hands-on across Go, C++, and React, collaborating with senior architects to deliver scalable solutions.

Qualifications

: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
: 12+ years of experience designing, building, and operating large-scale commercial software systems.
: Strong experience designing distributed systems, microservices, cloud-native web applications and APIs.
: Proven experience leading architecture and delivery of complex software platforms across multiple teams.
: Proficiency in Go, C++, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, C#, Python, Java or similar; Go and C++ valued.
: Experience with AWS or Azure and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

: Own end-to-end delivery of major web application initiatives from strategy to implementation and operations.
: Design and build scalable, secure cloud-native services supporting high-volume workloads, focusing on backend and contributing to frontend when needed.
: Define and drive technical vision and architecture for critical platform services with Autodesk Architects and Engineering Leaders.
: Mentor engineers, participate in design reviews, and lead performance optimization and debugging efforts.
