Job summary

Autodesk is expanding in Krakow and seeking a Principal Software Engineer (Backend/Full Stack) to shape the Tandem platform for Industry 4.0, IIoT, MES and Digital Twin solutions. The role blends strategy with hands-on delivery, focusing on Go and React, and mentoring engineers across teams.

You will contribute to scalable cloud-native services, drive architectural decisions, and collaborate with senior architects to deliver mission-critical workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
• 10+ years designing, building, and operating large-scale software systems.
• Experience with distributed systems and cloud-native web apps.
• Proficiency in Go, C++, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, C#, Python, Java.
• Experience with AWS or Azure and modern CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable, secure cloud-native services/web apps.
• Contribute to the technical vision and architecture for platform services.
• Hands-on development across full-stack with Go/C++ backends and React frontends.
• Establish engineering standards and best practices for quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with PM/Architecture to align investments with business goals.
• Lead design reviews and provide technical mentorship.
