People More is seeking a Senior Power BI Consultant / Requirements Engineer with German to join our Kraków-based team. The role involves gathering requirements, translating them into Power BI reports and data models, and collaborating with Data Engineering teams on international projects.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong Power BI skills, DAX, and Power Query, with fluency in German and good English. Remote work is fully supported with an option to work from our Kraków office.

For the project that we are working on with our partner, we are looking for Senior Power BI Consultant / Requirements Engineer with German.

Your duties will include:

• Independently gathering, analysing, and documenting business requirements.
• Communicating with stakeholders in German and managing their expectations.
• Translating business needs into effective reporting and data solutions.
• Designing, developing, and implementing Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Building data models and semantic models.
• Creating calculations and measures using DAX.
• Transforming and preparing data using Power Query.
• Working with Power BI Service, including publishing, managing, and maintaining reports and datasets.
• Monitoring and optimising the performance of reports and data models.
• Cooperating closely with Data Engineering and Data Warehouse teams.
• Supporting the implementation of BI solutions from the requirements-gathering stage through delivery.
• Managing tasks independently and proactively driving projects forward.

Requirements that must be met:

• Strong practical knowledge of Power BI.
• Very good command of DAX and Power Query.
• Experience in data modelling and building semantic models.
• Good knowledge of Power BI Service.
• Experience in performance optimisation of reports and data models.
• Ability to independently gather, analyse, and document business requirements.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working with Data Engineering and Data Warehouse teams.
• Ability to combine business analysis with technical implementation.
• A proactive, self-driven, and well-organised approach to work.
• Fluent German – mandatory.
• Very good English
