Job summary

SimCorp is seeking a Product Manager / Product Owner to drive Portfolio Management workflows within the front-office. You’ll translate client needs into practical software increments, lead scrum teams, and partner with engineering, design, and client-facing colleagues to deliver cohesive workflows.

The role emphasizes understanding portfolio manager actions, analytics, and data modeling, with a focus on delivering real client value in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with asset managers or front-office users
• Product management or product ownership background
• Value advisory or solution advisory
• Pre-sales or solution consulting
• Business or implementation consulting in fintech
• Client advisory or professional services in fintech
• Ability to map complex workflows to product needs
• Familiarity with portfolio management concepts
• Analytics, data, and financial concepts knowledge
• Knowledge of SimCorp Dimension is a plus

Responsibilities

• Own the product direction and backlog for Portfolio Management capabilities
• Translate needs into clear, actionable product increments
• Lead backlogs for one or more scrum teams balancing client value and quality
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and clients to shape workflows and data models
• Map portfolio manager workflows: monitoring, risk, scenarios, rebalance, orders
• Write briefs, user stories, and acceptance criteria focused on user goals
• Use client feedback and delivery learning to validate priorities
• Coordinate with other Product Owners to ensure coherent front-office workflows
• Support demos, discovery conversations, and client discussions
• Be the voice of the portfolio manager in product and delivery decisions
