Job summary

SimCorp is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to evolve the Portfolio Analytics backend of SimCorp Dimension. You will work on C#/.NET, Oracle, and AI-assisted tooling within an agile team of 5–7 engineers.

The role focuses on maintainability, performance, CI/CD, and moving toward a cloud-enabled unified platform. You will collaborate across product and engineering, mentor teammates, and contribute to design decisions while expanding your expertise into Dyalog APL and related financial systems.

Qualifications

• Production-grade backend software experience with C#/.NET or equivalent.
• Interest in technical design and scalable, high-performing apps or services.
• Familiarity with automated testing, version control, CI/CD.
• Openness to AI-assisted development tools with focus on quality and maintainability.
• Curiosity to learn Dyalog APL and investment-management software.
• Collaborative, with willingness to grow into technical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product and engineering to understand needs and shape solutions.
• Design, build, and maintain backend components and APIs using C#/.NET.
• Improve system performance, maintainability, reliability, and build efficiency.
• Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly for exploration, implementation, testing, documentation, and reviews.
• Contribute to automated testing, CI/CD practices for high-quality releases.
• Share knowledge through code reviews, pairing, mentoring, and collaboration across the team.
