Hitachi, Ltd. is seeking a Training & Development Senior Professional (Platform) in Łódź, Poland.

You will shape how engineers develop skills across the organization, creating a structured capability development path and translating needs into practical training plans. You will collaborate with engineering teams and experts to map competencies, design training architectures, and coordinate SMEs and external providers for AI-enabled learning initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering Informatics, or related field.
• Strong background in software engineering and platform development environments.
• Experience with large software development teams.
• Proven experience in skills and competency mapping or structured technical training programs.
• Exposure to AI and emerging tech in engineering or platform environments.
• Experience coordinating technical trainings with SMEs and external providers.
• Ability to operate in a global, cross-functional organization.
• Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain Platform Engineering competency framework translating priorities into clear expectations.
• Build and maintain skills matrices and assess gaps to drive development initiatives.
• Design role-based development paths from junior to expert levels.
• Coordinate internal SMEs and external training providers for content creation.
• Plan and execute learning activities aligned with TrafoSchool processes and standards.
• Coordinate local face‑to‑face training at the Global Engineering Center.
• Track KPIs, governance, and impact of AI-enabled training across platforms.
