Job summary

You will collaborate with engineering teams, factories, and the Global Material Repository to translate standards into practical competencies and Windchill-aligned content across regions. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• Strong background in materials engineering including qualification, insulation systems, testing, standardization, or reliability.
• Experience working with factories, materials experts, laboratories, or suppliers.
• Experience in skills and competence mapping or structured capability development.
• Experience coordinating technical training and certification programs.
• Working knowledge of PLM systems (Windchill) from a materials and documentation perspective.
• Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Define materials competency framework and develop alignment with GMR, standards, and factory needs.
• Maintain competency matrices, define skill levels, and identify gaps across HUBs and factories.
• Use Windchill as the reference for materials data and align competencies, training, and certifications.
• Define development paths and training structures (internal, suppliers, labs, external) and establish certification schemes.
• Plan and manage training and certifications per TrafoSchool standards and track completion.
• Monitor KPIs on competencies and training and report gaps and risks to local teams.
