REIZ TECH UAB is seeking a Senior PHP Developer to join our Development team and help scale our fintech product. You will own backend systems, architect robust solutions, and ensure secure, scalable code in a fully remote role with flexible hours.

Your expertise in PHP 8.x, Symfony/Laravel, MySQL, REST APIs, and Docker will drive performance and reliability across distributed services, while collaborating with cross-functional teams globally.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expert-level PHP 8.x with modern frameworks (Symfony, Laravel).
• Strong MySQL/MariaDB knowledge, REST API design, and Git workflows.
• Experience with PHPUnit, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Security best practices, GDPR considerations, and scalable architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using PHP 8.x and Symfony/Laravel.
• Own complex technical solutions, contribute to architecture decisions, and ensure secure, robust code.
• Build and maintain REST APIs with proper versioning and backward compatibility.
• Optimize MySQL/MariaDB performance, including queries and migrations.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments (Docker).
• Mentor junior/mid developers via code reviews and guidance.
• Apply SOLID principles and clean architecture in daily development.
