Job summary

SD Worx Poland is seeking an experienced Payroll Accountant to manage Austrian payroll accounting, working remotely with a dynamic team. You will handle payroll from A to Z, ensure compliance with labour and tax laws, and collaborate on customer projects while mentoring junior colleagues.

The role emphasizes German language proficiency, SAP/SAGE DPW knowledge, and MS Office skills in a service‑oriented, flexible environment. A permanent contract follows a 3‑month probation.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in Austrian payroll accounting.
• Completed payroll accounting training and proficient MS Office skills.
• Strong service orientation, initiative, flexibility, and teamwork.
• Knowledge of SAP or SAGE DPW.
• Very good command of German.

Responsibilities

• Take over payroll accounting from A to Z for clients, handling diverse collective agreements.
• Act as first point of contact for labour, social and tax law issues with authorities.
• Manage personnel administration and prepare evaluations and statistics.
• Support customer projects and ensure a smooth payroll transfer process.
• Share knowledge with junior colleagues and assist during training.

What do you have to offer?

All round passion in Austrian payroll and a strong drive to to support customers in different areas of business. But also:

• As an ideal candidate, you already have several years of experience in Austrian payroll accounting and convince us with your expertise and structured way of working.
• We assume that you have successfully completed training in payroll accounting and have sufficiently good MS Office skills.
• A high level of service orientation and initiative are not foreign to you and flexibility and the ability to work in a team round off your profile.

Which tasks can you expect?

• You like to take over the payroll accounting from A to Z for our customers and appreciate the variety through working with different collective agreements.

• The handling of personnel administration as well as the preparation of evaluations and statistics are an essential part of your job.
• In this exciting position, you will work on customer projects and provide support to ensure a smooth payroll transfer process.
• As an experienced payroll accountant, you are happy to share your knowledge with younger colleagues and support them during the training phase.
