MMC in Warsaw is seeking a skilled Trade Spend Analyst to own the end-to-end process of promotions, rebates, and accruals. You will verify claims against contracts, pricing terms, and promotional agreements, and you will drive data-driven improvements.

You will collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Customer Service, manage KPIs, mentor junior analysts, and strengthen controls to ensure DoA compliance. Proficiency in English and German is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in trade spend, rebates, deductions in shared services or global org.
• Strong understanding of trade promotion management with claim validation and accruals.
• Advanced experience with ERP and trade tools (SAP, Vistex, HighRadius).
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and identify trends.
• Experience in month-end close activities related to trade spend, including accrual management and reconciliations.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional communication.
• Continuous improvement mindset with automation experience.
• Proficiency in English and German is required.

Responsabilités

• Manage complex trade promotion and rebate claims with contract validation
• Oversee end-to-end trade spend process: adjudication, settlement, reconciliation
• Lead investigation of discrepancies and aged claims with cross-functional teams
• Review promotional data (EPOS, pricing, plans) for accuracy and compliance
• Manage trade spend accruals and month-end true-ups
• Provide guidance to junior analysts and support knowledge sharing
• Strengthen controls per DoA and audit requirements
• Monitor KPIs (claim cycle time, accrual accuracy, leakage, recovery rates)
• Drive continuous improvement, automation, and data governance
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Customer Service to reduce issues
