Job summary
Verita HR in Kraków is seeking an experienced, hands-on Database Administrator to support mission-critical Linux-based platforms in an enterprise infrastructure. You will manage IBM Sterling File Gateway, IBM Connect:Direct, and BMC Control-M in production environments with weekend changes and on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as Database Administrator in production environments.
- Strong Linux knowledge (RHEL).
- Hands-on experience with Oracle.
- Experience supporting mission-critical systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with backup/recovery, replication/HA, performance tuning, log analysis.
Responsibilities
- Database administration: install/ configure/ maintain Oracle databases, patching, backup/restore, performance tuning and incident resolution.
- Platform and production support with 24/7 on-call rota and weekend changes when required.
