Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a Senior Progress OpenEdge Developer in Wroclaw to support regulatory reporting for a banking client. You will manage OpenEdge environments, automate tasks with Bash, and ensure system reliability, monitoring, and security across Linux.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience, strong OpenEdge skills, and familiarity with GitLab and deployment tools. The role offers autonomy and opportunities to grow professionally in a regulated sector.

Qualifications

5+ years of professional experience.
Proven experience as a Progress 4GL OpenEdge Developer.
Comprehensive Bash scripting for automation and system management.
Ability to perform system administration tasks for Progress OpenEdge.
Familiarity with system monitoring, troubleshooting, IT networking and performance analysis.
Experience with Red Hat Linux operating systems.
Familiarity with shell commands, file manipulation, and process control.
Familiarity with GitLab or another version control and deployment tools.
Understanding of system security and access controls.
