Job summary

Tieto Tech Consulting is seeking a Senior Network Engineer in Kraków to design, configure, implement, and operate complex network and security solutions. You will troubleshoot LAN, WLAN, WAN, VPN, and NGFW environments while ensuring performance, reliability, and security.

The role requires 5+ years’ experience in network administration and proficiency with Cisco, Fortinet, or Check Point NGFW environments. A hybrid work model is offered, with on-site and remote support as needed.

Qualifications

5+ years in network administration with hands-on firewall management.
Experience maintaining Cisco, Fortinet or Check Point NGFW environments.
Strong knowledge of L2/L3 protocols and TCP/IP stack.
Hands-on wireless deployment and troubleshooting experience.
Familiarity with VPNs, encryption services, and monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

Design, configure, implement, and operate complex network and security solutions.
Troubleshoot LAN, WLAN, WAN, VPN, firewall, and NGFW environments.
Monitor network performance, capacity, and identify improvement opportunities.
Provide remote technical support to on-site engineers and customers.
Translate requirements into practical network solutions and report findings.
Stay current with network technologies and best practices.
