Job summary

Tieto Tech Consulting is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and operate complex network and security solutions across LAN/WAN/WLAN, VPN, and NGFW environments. You will troubleshoot, patch, monitor, and report on network performance to ensure reliability and security.

The role requires 5+ years of network administration experience, expertise with Cisco/Fortinet/Check Point NGFWs, and strong TCP/IP knowledge. Hybrid work model offered; remote support to on-site teams included.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in network administration.
• Experience maintaining Cisco, Fortinet, or Check Point NGFW environments.
• Strong knowledge of L2/L3 networking protocols and technologies.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP stack protocols.
• Hands-on wireless services deployment and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, implement, and operate complex network and security solutions.
• Troubleshoot LAN, WLAN, WAN, VPN, firewall, and NGFW environments.
• Perform patch management of network solutions.
• Monitor network performance and capacity; identify improvement opportunities.
• Analyze network issues and their impact on customers’ business.
• Establish and enforce network security policies, standards, and guidelines.
• Provide remote support to on-site engineers and end users/customers.
• Translate technical requirements into network solutions.
• Proactively identify improvements to services and solutions.
• Stay up to date with relevant network technologies, services, and products.
