Job summary

Tieto Tech Consulting is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join a Telecom Team for our client BICS. The role focuses on configuring and troubleshooting diverse network architectures and delivering design and implementation across Cisco IOS variants and Nokia SROS.

The ideal candidate has 5 years in Telecom/Internet service provider environments, fluent English, and hands-on experience with routing protocols, VPNs, QoS, and security. Optional on-call guard duty supports a 24/7 organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Telecom, IT or Electronics.
• 5 years of relevant telecom/ISP/vendor experience.
• Fluent English required.
• Cisco IOS/IOS-XE/IOS-XR and/or Nokia SROS knowledge.
• Strong routing, VPN, QoS, and security fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Configure and troubleshoot various network architectures.
• Design, test, and implement solutions based on business requirements and evolving technology.
• Create and maintain network design docs and guidelines.
• Manage software and hardware lifecycle of network gear.
• Participate in guard duty for 24/7 operations (optional).
