Job summary

Tieto Deutschland GmbH is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join a telecom team on the BICS project. You will configure and troubleshoot network architectures, design and implement solutions, and maintain network docs, while supporting 24/7 operations on a voluntary basis.

Required are a telecom/IT/electronics degree, 5 years in a telecom/ISP/vendor environment, Fluent English, and Cisco/Alcatel SR certification or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Telecom, IT or Electronics required.
• 5 years of relevant telecom/ISP/vendor experience.
• Fluent English language skills required.
• Cisco/Alcatel SR Certified at Pro/Expert level or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Configure and troubleshoot various network architectures.
• Design, test and implement solutions per business requirements and tech evolutions.
• Create and maintain system docs and network design guidelines.
• Manage network software & hardware lifecycle.
• Possible on-call guard duty for 24/7 support (optional).
